Upcoming CE News Webcast Series

Visit again soon to view our schedule of live presentations!

How the webcasts work
Webcasts are fully synchronized visual and audio presentations streamed over the Internet. These online events may provide interactive features such as desktop presentations for product demonstration, and interactive real-time polling, surveys, and a question and answer tool. After registering for the free webcast, you will receive an email with a URL link to join the presentation at the specified date and time.

Attend live webcasts and earn continuing education credit—for free!
Register and attend webcasts and you will receive a certificate of attendance for 1 PDH. Note that it is the responsibility of a licensee to determine if this method of continuing education meets your governing board(s) of registration's requirements, including if the sponsor is presenting. Additionally, people who view webcasts but do not register themselves are not entitled to receive a certificate of attendance. Also note that people who view archived presentations are not entitled to receive a certificate of attendance.

We appreciate our sponsors' support!
CE News is able to offer these valuable and informative presentations free of charge to registrants because of the support of our sponsors. By registering, you agree to receive information about products and services from the sponsor of this free webcast.

3-D and Model-centric Design Software
Join Adam Strafaci and Dominick Gallegos of Autodesk, along with Stacey Miyamoto of SSFM International, for a hands-on presentation on what 3-D and model-centric design software means for civil engineering, why the technology is being adopted by firms of all size, and how using it is different than designing and creating plans with traditional civil engineering software. This presentation will describe the benefits of a model-centric workflow and walk attendees through a project, detailing the use of the technology for planning, design, analysis, documentation, and beyond for a typical civil engineering project.

Want to learn more?

CE News hosts two types of webcasts. For one type, industry experts are invited by CE News staff to present; sometimes presenters are users of the sponsor's product or service. Sponsors are not invited to participate in the presentation. CE News staff review the content in advance, ensuring that it meets our standards. This online presentation option is well suited for delivering information about industry trends, best practices, project case studies, and more.

For the other type, sponsors present on a topic of their choice. CE News staff review the presentation to ensure that it meets our standards. This online presentation option is well suited for presenting the technical merits of a specified product, providing design guidance for a specific product, or training for a software solution.
