Website for civil engineers interested in BIM 

CHICAGO — CE News has launched a new online resource about building information modeling (BIM) for civil engineers on its website, www.cenews.com/bimchannel. The Building Information Modeling Channel is a microsite where visitors can find feature articles, industry news, links to CE News content, and links to various events and other online resources relating to the topic of BIM for civil engineers.

CE News Editorial Director Shanon Fauerbach, P.E., said, "We are extremely excited to launch our first online channel. This dedicated environment on our website provides civil engineers with a place to learn about the exciting collaborative design process taking shape within civil engineering industry. As technological advances provide new methods for teams to execute planning, design, and construction projects, it is essential that there be unbiased forums for information exchange. We are thrilled to host this repository of information for civil engineers to keep abreast of evolving opportunities in our field."

Look for new monthly features, which will include testimonials from civil engineers using BIM to improve their business, among other updates to the channel.
