Terracon acquires IAQ Consultants Inc. 

OLATHE, KAN. — Terracon acquired IAQ Consultants, Inc. (IAQC), a Dallas-based firm specializing in indoor air quality, asbestos consulting and industrial hygiene. Terracon is one of the nation’s largest employee-owned engineering consulting firms with headquarters in Olathe, Kan. With the addition of IAQC, will be able to enhance their current asbestos services and broaden the industrial hygiene services they provide to better meet clients’ needs.

IAQC provides services to corporations, homeowners, insurers, school districts, governmental entities and legal professionals. It is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) as a Mold Consulting Company, a Mold Analysis Laboratory and an Asbestos Consultant Agency. IAQC is able to provide on-site clearance testing for mold remediation, and is the only lab in Texas to provide this service. IAQC will now operate as Terracon, and all employees have joined Terracon’s Dallas office.

Terracon is an employee-owned engineering consulting firm with more than 2,700 employees providing geotechnical, environmental, construction materials and facilities services from more than 100 offices in 37 states nationwide.
