Pennoni Associates completes acquisitions 

PHILADELPHIA — Pennoni Associates, an award-winning engineering, design, and consulting firm headquartered in Philadelphia, has completed the acquisition of the Design Consultants Group, LLC (DC Group), based in Milton, Del. Additionally, Pennoni has acquired Patton Harris Rust & Associates (PHR+A) headquartered in Chantilly, Va. Pennoni will take on the staff members of DC Group along with the 175 staff members and seven offices of PHR+A.

Pennoni has been providing multi-disciplined consulting engineering services from offices in the state of Delaware and the northeastern United States, and will now incorporate the DC Group office in southern Delaware as well as PHR+A offices in Maryland and Virginia into its base of operations.

DC Group was established in 1998 by Mark H. Davidson. With more than 75 years of combined experience in surveying, engineering, and land planning, DC Group provides professional consulting and design services in land planning and development for residential and commercial projects.

The acquisition of the DC Group and their office in Milton, Del., marks the 21st regional office for Pennoni Associates.

PHR+A was established in 1952 as a professional engineering and land surveying firm in northern Virginia. The firm has a long tradition of providing engineering services to a variety of clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region. PHR+A’s professional staff include telecommunications and utility engineers, surveyors, planners, landscape architects, and environmental specialists. Their staff and services will complement and enhance those offered by Pennoni Associates nationally and internationally.
