Matrix New World Engineering announces new sustainability design services  

EAST HANOVER, N.J. — Matrix New World Engineering Inc. has announced the unveiling of its Sustainability & Green Design Services division to complement the company’s suite of engineering, environmental, geotechnical, and civil engineering services.

The Sustainability and Green Design Services group offers a comprehensive, integrated suite of services to assist developers, building managers and property owners in addressing issues such as indoor air quality, water and wastewater management, heat loss recovery, daylighting, indoor and outdoor space planning, and other issues that plague structures, neighborhoods and waterfronts for clients in both the private and public sectors.

The company said its approach is to identify, assess, recommend and implement solutions that have a measurable and immediate impact on key operations and the reduction of operating costs. “By creating the Sustainability and Green Design Services group, Matrix continues its dual commitment to protecting the environment and enabling our clients to run their businesses efficiently and economically” said Dennis Petrocelli, senior vice president of Matrix. “We are proud to present to our existing and new client base this exciting addition to the Matrix portfolio of services.”

The Sustainability and Green Design Services group sales initiative will be lead by Bonita Areman, vice president of business development and sales. Areman will drive the vision and leadership within Matrix by developing and executing a sales strategy that will complement Matrix’s existing service offerings. Areman’s professional background includes global sales and marketing management at Fortune 100/500 companies. She and has also had the unique opportunity to be part of several successful high-tech start-up companies, the company said.

Matrix has appointed Jacqueline Germany as director of sustainability systems. In the newly created position, Germany will lead the environmental consulting efforts and assist Matrix clients to determine the feasibility and options to implement sustainable solutions. Germany’s contributions within the industry are well recognized, and her addition to Matrix will further the organizations efforts to integrate these compelling services.
