GEI Consultants selected by Denver Water for water transmission and distribution services

DENVER — GEI Consultants Inc., a geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firm, has been selected to provide professional engineering services on an as-needed basis to Denver Water’s Engineering Division for water transmission and distribution services.

GEI has successfully completed numerous projects with Denver Water throughout its 16-year relationship, including most recently the Fulton Inlet Pipeline Project, the Miller Reservoir Dam, the Dillon Dam Seismic Stability Study, and the Williams Fork Collection Systems Cost Upgrade. For the last three years, GEI has supported Denver Water through a Dam Engineering General Engineering Services (GES) contract.

GEI’s water conveyance engineering practice complements its water supply, storage, dam, and reservoir experience through linking reservoir and storage facilities and other water infrastructure with conveyance systems. Services include the civil, hydraulic, geotechnical, environmental, and ecological aspects of raw and finished water transmission and distribution pipeline systems that include route selection, feasibility-level design, final design, and construction-phase services.
