COLUMBIA, CONN — CE News' February 2010 feature article, “Getting a Piece of the Renewable Energy Market,” written by Theresa M. Casey, FSMPS, CPSM, founding principal of On Target Marketing & Communications LLC, earned Best Feature Article at the Society for Marketing Professional Services/Connecticut (SMPSCT) 2011 Marketing Communications Awards.

Casey, who has written for the publication during the last several years, most recently authored, “Master’s Degree: For Here or to Go,” in the June 2011 issue of CE News. The article explains how technology and the sluggish economy have fueled a sharp increase in the demand for online civil engineering master’s degree programs.

Last year, On Target was awarded three awards for Casey’s article, “Brown is the New Green: Sustainable Design on Brownfields Coming into Vogue,” which appeared in the Florida Engineering Journal.
