CHANTILLY, VA. — Bowman Consulting acquired The Vision Group (TVG), a civil engineering and construction management company with offices in Chesapeake, Va., and Edenton, N.C. This acquisition strengthens Bowman’s presence in the Tidewater region of Virginia and expands into North Carolina.

TVG was established in 2004 and has a range of experience that includes commercial site plans, residential and commercial subdivisions, industrial site plans, roadways, and utility design. TVG has been instrumental in the development and construction of projects in the Southeast Virginia/Hampton Roads area and in Northeast North Carolina. Among its current notable projects is the Wachovia Center development in downtown Norfolk, Va.

Bowman Consulting provides civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture, surveying, environmental, and geothermal services to a variety of public and private markets throughout the Eastern U.S.
