AECOM joint venture awarded FEMA Risk MAP contract  

LOS ANGELES — AECOM Technology Corp. has announced that BakerAECOM LLC, a joint venture in which it participates with Michael Baker Jr. Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corp., has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide production and technical services for the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Risk Mapping, Assessment and Planning (Risk MAP) program from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Under this contract, BakerAECOM LLC is providing engineering and other technical services nationwide, including production of effective, flexible and sustainable Risk MAP products to develop and implement tools to protect the United States from floods and other related hazardous conditions, officials said.

"We are proud to play a key role in this important flood management program," said AECOM President and Chief Executive Officer John M. Dionisio. "AECOM has a strong performance history with FEMA, and we are excited to continue providing innovative and collaborative solutions."

The 60-month, performance-based contract has a one-year base period with four, 12-month option periods with a maximum contract value of $600 million.
