Climbing walls
Kiewit Bilfinger-Berger is installing seven shafts to service the 6-mile-long, 26-foot-diameter East Side Tunnel Combined Sewer Overflow in Portland, Ore. The shafts will connect existing overflow pipes and provide above-ground access. A Frami wall-forming system is helping keep the project ahead of schedule to meet its 2011 completion date.

Recent advancements in building information modeling (BIM) parametric technology allows for the bi-directional exchange of BIM data with external databases, which can be used for design, construction, facility management, maintenance, and operations. This online exclusive feature provides a brief overview of the uses, power, and benefits of BIM schedules.
