The footbridge spans 1,000 feet across Lake Hodges and has a concrete deck that is only 16 inches thick. With spans of 330 feet between supports, the bridge features an amazing depth-to-span ratio of 1:248.

Kiewit Bilfinger-Berger is installing seven shafts to service the 6-mile-long, 26-foot-diameter East Side Tunnel Combined Sewer Overflow in Portland, Ore. The shafts will connect existing overflow pipes and provide above-ground access. A Frami wall-forming system is helping keep the project ahead of schedule to meet its 2011 completion date.
