Rose Weissman has joined Kleinfelder, Inc., in the firm’s Newburgh, N.Y., office as senior project manager. Weissman has more than 18 years of experience as an environmental professional. She has worked extensively with the Environmental Protection Agency on Region 2 priority sites in the continental United States and Caribbean, as well as with the Army Corps of Engineers in remote areas of Alaska, assessing military lands to be returned to Native Alaskan Corporations.

Todd S. Hill, P.E., has been named principal engineer/project manager at MACTEC Engineering & Consulting in Kennesaw, Ga. He is managing a number of key civil/site design and regional mixed-use development projects. Hill has served as senior project manager and project manager for large civil engineering firms in Atlanta. He managed teams of engineers and designers preparing civil/site plans for commercial, office, institutional, and municipal projects.

Weston Solutions, Inc., has appointed Alan Solow as COO. Solow joined Weston in 1985 and has served as senior vice president and division manager since 1998. As COO, he will be responsible for implementing best practices across the company, drawing on past roles as project manager, project director, and division manager.

Greenhorne & O’Mara, Inc., has appointed Brian L. Wood as division manager, surveys. Wood is responsible for coordinating federal surveying work company-wide, and all surveying operations in the headquarters office in Laurel, Md., including federal, state, and municipal government projects and private sector projects.
