Leica Geosystems' new Leica ScanStation C5 is a fully integrated, cable-less system featuring a high-resolution, color touch screen and integrated, high-resolution zoom video. It features a laser plummet and tribrach mount and interfaces to standard survey accessories such as TPS batteries, total station prisms, and even the Leica GPS SmartAntenna. The Leica ScanStation C5 also is designed to be upgraded incrementally, adding capabilities such as high-accuracy tilt compensation, internal digital camera access, high scan speed, and long range.

Penda Corp.'s SmartDitch MegaDitch is an expandable system of modular, overlapping, ribbed HDPE base and wall sections engineered to manage extremely large water flow applications such as those found in mining drainage pathways and industrial site containment systems. MegaDitch is engineered with adjustable side-walls to conform to a variety of slopes and grades. Base and wall sections are connected for maximum expandability and fit both flat-bottom and V-bottom channel profiles. Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. offers FLEXSTORM Product Configurator, available free at www.inletfilters.com, to configure stormwater inlet filters based on drainage structure type and filtration needs. A resources section contains product details, engineering drawings, specifications, educational videos, plus operation and maintenance plans. Software users identify the type of drainage system and select framing material and an appropriate filter bag. Then the program automatically configures the FLEXSTORM unit.

Packaged MBR treatment plant
Koch Membrane Systems Inc. announced the first North American installation of a PURON PLUS packaged, skid-mounted membrane bioreactor (MBR) wastewater treatment system. The new PURON PLUS MBR system will serve an apartment complex in Massachusetts and is designed to meet stringent surface discharge limits for biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, and total nitrogen. The packaged system consists of two membrane trains each containing one PURON membrane module, as well as ancillary equipment.

Librestream's Onsight mobile collaboration system fully connects internal experts to remote locations in real time with multiple layers of security to keep the content safe. Using Onsight, an internal expert can receive live video and audio, and share feedback with field staff, external suppliers, or clients to assess operations and resolve issues immediately. Field workers use the mobile device to share video, voice, telestration (onscreen drawing) and images with remote experts who interact live through the collaboration PC software. Remote experts also can share images or pre-recorded videos.
