GIS data collection tablet
Leica Geosystems' Leica Zeno CS25 GNSS tablet computer integrates an upgradable GNSS board and an attachable Helix Antenna, which packs full GNSS functionality into an ergonomic and portable device with a large screen. The CS25 GNSS doesn't require a backpack or a pole mount, or any additional batteries. For high-accuracy data collection, it can connect with an external GNSS Antenna mounted on a pole. The tablet uses Leica Zeno Field, Leica MobileMatriX, or third party partner software for GIS data collection.

Wastewater treatment plant biogas
Natural Systems Utilities (NSU) offers clients a public-private partnership approach to design, build, finance, and operate wastewater treatment plant upgrades to enable biogas capture and conversion to renewable energy. The NSU approach features anaerobic digesters that capture and convert organic matter to biogas (methane) to reuse it for energy generation, either by creating renewable natural gas or by creating vehicle fuel. NSU offers complimentary preliminary evaluations to review the viability of privately funded biogas projects.

Protective coating
Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings launched Acrolon Ultra, a high-gloss, solvent-based acrylic polyurethane that, according to the company, provides long-term UV protection for high-profile structures such as bridges, stadiums, and water and storage tanks. Acrolon Ultra provides excellent hiding and film formation at low film thicknesses (2-3 mils DFT) and is suitable for use in U.S. Department of Agriculture-inspected facilities. Acrolon Ultra is optimized for brush and roll application, can be sprayed using airless or conventional spray equipment, and can be shaded to virtually any color.

Water turbidity analyzer
According to Electro-Chemical Devices, its Triton TR8 Turbidity Analyzer is ideal for monitoring turbidity in filter backwashing systems in potable water treatment plants. Turbidity is used to monitor the progress of the cleaning; when the turbidity returns to a value near the turbidity of the clear well water, the backwash cycle is stopped. The Triton TR8's sensor assembly relies on a near infrared LED light source (880 nm), and the 90-degree scattered light method. The TR8's transmitter digitally communicates with the turbidity sensor and provides a 4-20 mA output and alarm relay.
